Just before Christmas, our team travelled up to Morecambe on the Lancashire coast, to install one of our sought after care home visiting pods.
Situated on the seafront at Morecambe, The Mayfair is a family-run care home benefitting from spectacular views across to the Lake District. The care home was established in 1984,with the aim of delivering the highest standard of care for both residents and those using respite services. With this in mind, the Mayfair’s owner decided to invest in one of our visitor pods to ensure that visits between residents and their loved ones could take place during this Covid pandemic, and in particular, over the Christmas period.
The Mayfair opted for one of our 3.6m trailer visitor pods, complete with heating, lighting, electrical supply and non-slip wood vinyl flooring. Showplace also installed a lift to the pod’s exterior to ensure that the visiting space was fully accessible.
