Around 250 champion ploughmen and women from all over Britain are expected to compete in October to celebrate the 71st British National Ploughing Championships at the Chatsworth Estate, Elm Tree Farm, Stony Houghton, Glapwell, in North East Derbyshire.
The high point of the British competition ploughing season is the annual British National Ploughing Championships, which are organised by the Society of Ploughmen in a different part of the country each year. They regularly see around 250 local ploughing champions – both men and women – competing for different titles.
But there is much more to the British National Ploughing Championships than ploughing. Every year is different, but agricultural trade stands, shopping stalls and country crafts provide an ‘agricultural show’ atmosphere to the event and there are vintage equipment and rural displays, tractor and trailer rides and the rare opportunity to see steam ploughing tackle at work.
Are you exhibiting at the British Ploughing Championships 2023? Do you need an exhibition stand, event structure or exhibition trailer for the show? Showplace can help with a wide range of exhibition services to help you get the most from this show.
